Report: An ecosystem to accelerate the uptake of innovation in materials technology
A recent report looks into barriers that need to be addressed in order to accelerate the industrial uptake of nanotechnologies and advanced materials. It lists potential actions that in four key areas for upscaling: characterisation, modelling translation, pilots and safety. These actions may ultimately increase the competitiveness of European industry and have a positive impact on growth and jobs in Europe.
The report was produced by the High Level Group of EU Member States and associated countries on nanosciences, nanotechnologies and advanced materials.
