Nanopinion: European nanomaterial market expected to grow – new barriers emerging

“The EU (including EEA and Switzerland) nanomaterials market is expected to have a steady growth led by the medicine, personal care and manufacturing sectors. The projected compound annual growth rate up until 2025 is 13.9 % per volume and 18.4 % per value driven by technological advancement and strong consumer demand. However, the recent events in Ukraine add yet another barrier to the already existing relatively high barriers to enter the market, such as a strict regulatory landscape, the high power of suppliers and tough competition.”
