Catálogo de ingredientes cosméticos
La Comisión Europea publicó un catálogo, actualizado periódicamente, de todos los nanomateriales utilizados en los productos cosméticos en la UE en julio de 2017. Muchas de las sustancias enumeradas en el catálogo también se encuentran registradas en virtud del Reglamento REACH.
La tabla que figura a continuación enumera los nanomateriales que figuran en el catálogo de la Comisión Europea, con sus números CE y CAS, y los vincula con sus datos de registro en la base de datos de productos químicos mantenida por la Agencia Europea de Sustancias y Mezclas Químicas (ECHA). En ella podrá encontrar más información sobre su uso seguro y sobre las actividades regulatorias relevantes en su caso.
El vínculo se efectuó correlacionando las sustancias químicas existentes en la base de datos de la ECHA mediante sus números CAS y/o el nombre del nanomaterial que figura en el catálogo
Dado que el registro de los nanomateriales en virtud del Reglamento sobre los productos cosméticos y el registro de las sustancias en virtud del Reglamento REACH tienen alcances diferentes, no es posible encontrar una correspondencia perfecta en todos los casos. Varias de las entradas en el catálogo de nanomateriales utilizados en los productos cosméticos son de ámbito más específico que las sustancias registradas en virtud de REACH. Tenga en cuenta que un registro efectuado en virtud de REACH puede no cubrir específicamente las nanoformas de las sustancias utilizadas en los cosméticos.
